PT KONTAK PERKASA - Two of the strangest Evangelion unit designs from Evangelion Rebuild films are getting highly posable Revoltech figures. Shinji and Kaworu's joint-piloted Evangelion No. 13 with four arms and dual-wielding the Spear of Longinus and the Spear of Cassius from Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo is one of the new figures
Evangelion Provisional Unit-05 piloted briefly by Mari Makinami Illustrious in Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance. The unit is unique in that while its top half is humanoid like the other units, its bottom half is vehicle-like, sitting on four wheels and allowing it to drive forward at a fast pace. It's shown holding a jousting lance. The Revoltech figure also comes with the Third Angel to recreate battle scenes from the film.
Both figures cost 4,968 yen (US$45) each and are part of the Evangelion Evolution line.
Revoltech added gruesome accessories earlier this year, including LED-lit remains of the Fourth Angel (Shamshel), torn appendages, and blood.
The final new Evangelion film, Shin Evangelion Gekijō-ban :||, is in production. Khara's official website also revealed in April that the studio was recruiting animators, modelers, technical staff, system engineers, and production managers.
