PT KONTAK PERKASA FUTURES BANDUNG - Named
for a Mongolian shaman who specializes in setting bones, this Vermont
quartet purveys the sort of progressive metal that’s as healing as it is
intensely punishing. Vocalist Sascha Simms all but vomits up his soul
amid the thickly enveloping firestorm of tracks like “Grave of the
Creator,” “Death Moves in Silence” and the title cut, but his catharsis
is a shared one; once you’ve braved the epic nine minute death march of
“The Deep” with him, you’ll feel oddly refreshed and rejuvenated, almost
